I made this Journal with love using a favorite upholstery fabric in dark blue and green. A collaged pocket decorates the cover with vintage music paper, a rose die cut, and Praying Mantis art. Beautiful tassel trim lines the bottom edge and 2 pockets hold tags and a place to put your name.
The cover's substrate is a sturdy lightweight cardboard.
Carefully chosen papers in varying weights, textures, and patterns make this Journal a joy to flip through. Some pages are vintage, some are tea-stained, and some are book illustrations. The tags and journaling cards add even more writing space.
There are, also, perfectly imperfect sewing details. I have left wispy tails to all my sewing to add visual interest and texture.
The ribbon closure slides under the cover pocket which keeps it close at hand, but doesn't obscure the cover details.
This magical Journal would be a wonderful companion for planning your garden, using as a diary, keeping recipes and photos in, tucking in special mementos, and/or anything, really!
There are 3 signatures inside.
The 1st and 3rd signatures contain approx 26 pages (52 sides) per signature.
The center signature is a smaller at 20 pages, but includes top loading pockets with a large card intended to be used as a dashboard to write against.
There are lots of fabric tabs and some paper leaf trim that stick out of the book making it charming when you look at it from any angle. Comes with a pack of extra goodies to use in your Journal.
